We have some pipes that are shaking in the basement when we turn off water, flush the toilet, use the dishwasher, etc. They shake quite violently when we flush the one toilet (it's a bit old and seems to use a lot of water pressure). It shaking seems to be the cold water pipes coming in from the main water pipe and that continue up the wall and over to our hot water tank. There is also shaking when we turn off a hot water tap--this time the hot water pipe going into the hot water tank. It is mostly minor shaking--except for when the toilet stops flushing--that is, again--some pretty major shaking! Our house was built back in '59--so we weren't sure if this might be water hammer and the house just doesn't have any arrestors or anything? Also, my husband is interested in having a shut-off valve put onto a toilet that doesn't seem to have one (the toilet causing the major shaking) and some shut-off valves replaced on our kitchen sink (the ones that are there do not seem to work).
To install a outside hose line to water the grass outside of the home.

Just installed a new bath tub(second floor) and the drain pipe/fitting is off center to the right of the tub hole by approxamtely 3-4 inches. There is no give left on the piping to make it fit. It is all PVC schedule 40 pipe and I think 2 inch diameter??; and is all glued on every joint with PVC glue/the vent pipe seems to fit but is canted ever so slightly so it dosn't fit well; I believe it needs to be extended 1 inch?? I need the Tub plumbed correctly. The copper pipe/spout is too low on the water action and needs to be raised approxametly 3 inches and the water action needs to be raised about 4 inches/It is all braised copper pipiping; 1/2 inch I think, and has compression fittings on the top of the water action (copper pipe going to the shower head)-That needs to be adjusted as well to fit on the new souround I am putting in.

I need a new toilet installed. Thanks,

Plumbing pipe leak. A little water is seeping into the kitchen and also leaking through the exterior wall. It may be the pipe connecting to the hydrant in the back yard. Noticed leak a few weeks ago. Need to repair.

I believe I am in need of a new garbage disposal and well as the installation. The recommended replacement was a Badger 1. I would like a fair estimate to replace or repair the disposal. Thank you.
